I am truly obsessed with Churros and they are one of my most favorite desserts to have! To make the eggless dough, I used my Stahl saucepan to fry these beautiful churros to perfection! Try them for yourself and surprise your tastebuds! Ingredients: 2 cups water 3 tbsp butter 2 tbsp sugar 1/8 tsp salt 2 cups flour oil for frying Cinnamon Sugar (1 tbsp cinnamon powder + 1 cup caster sugar) Milk chocolate to serve Tips 1. Add the maida as soon as the water comes to a boil. 2. Mix continuously to avoid forming lumps of flour. 3. Let the dough cool a bit before transferring it to your piping bag. 4. Do not transfer all of your dough in the piping bag all at once. Add it in parts for easier piping. 5. You can also use double layer of piping bag for easier piping. 6. Pipe directly on hot oil. 7. Try this delicious recipe and have a party for one today 🏻🏻 Ingredients- 🍓6 digestive biscuits 🍓3 tbsp melted butter 🍓½ cup cream cheese, softened 🍓2 tbsp heavy cream 🍓1/2 tbsp corn flour 🍓1/2 tsp vanilla extract 🍓1/4 cup condensed milk 🍓3 strawberries, puree 🍓2 extra strawberries, chopped Instructions: 1. In a blender, add biscuits and process them until fully crushed. Now add melted butter and blend again. 2. Transfer the biscuit crumbs into a 4” inch springform pan and press down evenly. Set it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes. 3. In another bowl, add cream cheese, heavy cream, condensed milk, cornflour and vanilla extract. 4. Mix until the batter is fully combined. 5. Now transfer this on top of the biscuit base. Seal the bottom of the springform pan with two layers of aluminum foil so nothing leaks out. 6. Place the cheesecake tin in a bigger baking dish with hot water creating a water bath. 7. Bake in a preheated oven 160 celsius for about 40 mins. 8. Once baked fully run a knife around the edges while the cheesecake is still warm. 9. Transfer the cheesecake into the fridge to cool for about 2-4 hours. 10. Top it up with strawberry puree and chunks. 11. Slice it and enjoy! It is soft, moist, flavourful and you wouldn’t have a clue that it didn’t have any eggs! INGREDIENTS: - 2½ cups (330 g) flour - regular, all purpose - 2½ tsp baking powder - ½ tsp salt - ¾ cup (185 g) yoghurt - regular (not Greek), room temperature - 1½ cups (300 g) white granulated sugar - 1½ tbsp vanilla essence/extract - ½ tsp baking soda - ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter - ¼ cup (50 g) unflavoured vegetable oil - I use canola - 1 cup (240 g) milk Bake at 160 °C (320°F) with the fan on for 28 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Do the window pane test to check if the dough is ready. 2. Line another bowl with oil and place the rolled dough carefully in it. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it proof in a warm place for 1-2 hours till it is doubled in size. 3. Once the dough is double in size, knock down the dough and place it on a floured surface to knead again. 4. Knead for a minute and divide it into equal portions (70-75g each) 5. Place these divided dough balls onto parchment paper and let it proof again for another 30-60 mins till doubled it size. 6. Heat the oil for frying and once it is hot enough, carefully fry the doughnuts on each side till a nice golden brown colour is achieved. 7. While the doughnuts are cooling, make the caramel for the top coating in a heavy bottom pan using the given quantities. 8. Make small holes on either side of the doughnuts and fill them with pastry cream or custard using a piping bag. 9. Carefully dip the top of the doughnuts in the caramel till it’s nicely coated and let it cool for a few mins. Your eggless doughnuts are ready! Eggless Moist Chocolate Cake is a light, moist and delicious cake. I always love cakes with eggs but this time, I couldn’t tell that this is actually eggless. I decided to do a chocolate ganache frosting to go with it. It was heavenly when both the ganache and the cake melted in my mouth. Since there are quite a few requests on eggless cake, I hope this will be helpful and inspiring. Hope you’ll enjoy this video. Ingredients: Two 8 inch baking pans Chocolate cake 224g (1 3/4 cup) cake flour (or all-purpose flour) 96g (3/4 cup) cocoa powder 1 ½ tsp baking powder 1 ½ tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 280g (1 1/3 cup) castor sugar 112g (1/2 cup) coconut oil (or other types of vegetable oil) 120g (1/2 cup) yogurt 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or regular vinegar) 120 ml (1/2 cup) milk 178ml (3/4 cup) hot water + 2 tsp strong coffee powder 2 tsp vanilla extract Chocolate Ganache Frosting 500g dark chocolate (or semisweet chocolate) 250g whipping cream (hot) 2 tbsp honey Instructions: 1. Preheat oven at 350°F / 180°C. Prepare two 8 inch baking pans, grease and lay with parchment paper on the bottom of pans. Then dust some flour along the sides of the pan (optional). This is so that the cake doesn’t stick on the sides. 2. Sift all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt). Set aside. 3. In a large bowl, add sugar and oil. Then add in the hot coffee and whisk until well incorporated. 5. Add the sifted dry ingredients in the batter, add in 2 batches. Mix until the flour disappear and the batter is smooth and creamy. Do not overmix. 6. Pour the batter into two 8 inch pans evenly. Tap the pans a few times on the table to release air bubbles. 7. Bake at 350°F / 180°C for 35 minutes. Test the cake with a cake test to make sure the cake is well cooked. Set aside on the cooling rack. 8. Prepare the frosting. In a large bowl, add the chocolate. Pour the hot whipping cream (not boiling) onto the chocolate. Let it sit for about 2 minutes. Use a spatula to fold in the cream and chocolate until it is smooth. If the chocolate is not smooth, you may put into the microwave for 15-20 seconds to prevent any lumps. Add in the honey. The chocolate will be runny at this point. Refrigerate the chocolate for about 30 minutes to get a thicker consistency. 9. Assemble the cake. The cake is ready to serve after the assembling. ✅Recipe (Made using 1 8-inch Loaf Tin) 🍰240 grams ripe bananas 🍰100 grams yogurt / dahi, room temperature 🍰100 grams milk, room temperature 🍰1 teaspoon baking soda 🍰1 teaspoon baking powder 🍰Pinch of sea salt 🍰1 teaspoon cinnamon powder 🍰180 grams wholewheat flour 🍰140 grams caster sugar 🍰85 grams vegetable oil 🍰50 grams roughly chopped pecans 🍰100 grams dark chocolate chunks ✅Process: 🍰Preheat oven to 180 Celsius. 🍰In a bowl, mash very ripe bananas. Add yogurt, milk and whisk well. 🍰Then add baking powder, baking soda, sea salt and cinnamon powder. Whisk until well combined and let it sit for 2-3 minutes 🍰Reserve 1 tablespoon of wholewheat flour and add the rest to the batter. 🍰Add caster sugar and vegetable oil. Eggless Pineapple Pastry Cake – Pineapple pastry cake is technically not a pastry, but that’s what the Indians called it. The sponge cake is very soft, moist and spongy, with the pineapple crushed fillings and pineapple chunks, resembles the egg version last week, as I still feel this combination of fillings is the best, just the way I like it. In this recipe, I omit using any alcohol, as many of you who choose eggless must be vegetarians. I kept the design of this cake in a simple look. I hope you’re inspired to make this cake. Enjoy! FOR FULL RECIPE, please visit my blog at 🤍 Ingredients: You’ll need 1 can of pineapple slice (with brine) You can use fresh pineapples, but you’ll need to get some pineapple juice as well • Sponge Cake I used 7-inch round pan, and 6-inch ring cutter to cut off the brown edges 240 ml [1 cup] milk 1 tbsp white vinegar 280g [2¼ cup + 1 tbsp] cake flour 2 tsp baking powder ¼ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp salt 180g [¾ cup + 2 tbsp] fine sugar 130g [½ cup + 1 tbsp] oil 30ml [2 tbsp] coconut cream 30ml [2 tbsp] pineapple juice (from can) 1 tsp vanilla extract • Pineapple Fillings 215g [1 cup] crushed pineapples 80g [¼ cup + 2 tbsp] fine sugar 11g [1½ tbsp] cornstarch 90g [¼ cup + 2 tbsp] pineapple juice (from can) Pineapple chunks • Frosting 360g [1½ cups] whipping cream 30g [2 tbsp] fine sugar 30g [2 tbsp] coconut cream Pineapple juice or syrup (from the can) Instructions: • Sponge Cake 1. Preheat oven at 180°C/355°F. 2. In a cup, add milk and vinegar. Give it a quick stir and let it rest for 5 minutes. 3. Sift all the dry ingredients (cake flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt) 4. In a large mixing bowl, add sugar and oil. Mix vigorously until well combined. 5. Add coconut cream, juice and vanilla extract, mix vigorously until well combined. 6. Add in the milk mixture in a few batches, alternate with the sifted dry ingredients. 7. Add in the sifted dry ingredients in a few batches, alternate with the milk mixture. 8. Mix until combined, do not over mix. Switch to a spatula to mix and scrape the bowl to ensure even mixing. 9. Transfer batter into a 7-inch prepared pan, greased and lined with parchment paper. 10. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C/355°F at 35 minutes or until inserted skewer comes out clean. 11. Let it cool completely before slicing. 12. Trim off the top and bottom crust. Then slice into 3 sheets. Use a 6-inch ring cutter to trim off the round edges. • Pineapple fillings 8. Strain the pineapples from the can. Keep the juice for use later. 9. Cut about 215g [1 cup] pineapples into chunks and place them in a food processor. Crush them into fine mashed. Set aside. 10. Add the crushed pineapples into a small pot. Add sugar and cornstarch. Give it a quick stir. Add in the juice. 11. Cook over a medium heat until the mixture is smooth and thickened. 12. Remove the pot from the heat. Let it cool. 13. Transfer into a piping bag. • Frosting 4. In a large mixing bowl, add whipping cream, sugar and coconut cream. 5. Mix on medium low speed until the cream is stiff, do not over mix. 6. Transfer cream into a piping bag. • Assemble the Cake 16. Spread a tiny bit of cream on the cake board so that it can hold the cake. 17. Place a cake sheet. 18. Brush with the juice. 19. Pipe the whipping cream, spread it evenly with a spatula. Pipe cream around the edges to create a border around the rim. 20. Pipe a generous amount of pineapple fillings. Spread evenly. 21. Place another cake sheet. Brush with juice. 22. Pipe cream and spread evenly. Place and arrange the pineapple slices (in halves or however you like). Pipe cream again to cover it. Spread it evenly. 23. Place the last cake sheet. Brush with juice. Pipe the cream on top and cover the cake with cream on all sides. Scrape the cake smooth with a spatula or scraper. 24. Refrigerate the cake for at least 30 minutes or 1 hour. 25.
